Pennsylvania 29th State to Adopt Mobility!
July 8, 2008
Congratulations to Pennsylvania for passing the mandatory 150-hour requirement. This requirement is a critical step in making Pennsylvania a substantially equivalent state. The 150-hour requirement becomes effective in 2012.
In the same legislation, which passed on July 3, Pennsylvania also enacted a mobility provision that will provide for mobility for out-of-state licensees coming from states that have enacted a comparable provision. This is similar to what was enacted in Georgia earlier in the year. This mobility provision becomes effective 60 days after gubernatorial signature.
