We are excited to gather in Montpelier at the Capitol Plaza to meet with key state officials, industry leaders, partners, and legislators. We will hear about updates in our state that impact us as professionals and our clients.

On the Agenda

• Get updates from Vermont Treasurer Mike Pieciak
• Hear the latest from Rebecca Sameroff and John Gortakowksi at the Vermont Department of Taxes and offer your feedback on topics such as:
  • VT omnibus tax legislation for 2025
  • Vermont's conformity with the IRC/OB3 updates, especially as it pertains to S174 R&D capitalization
  • Property taxes and educational outlook
  • Status of PTET in VT
• Learn about the state of the workforce with Brittany Nevins from the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development
• Talk with legislators about the expanded pathway for CPA licensing over lunch
• De-brief and discuss VT CPA issues after lunch with other members

A more detailed agenda and other information will be sent in advance to registrants. Morning beverages and lunch are included in registration (vegan and gluten-free options available).
