Hollingsworth Pack has an immediate need for an administrative leader to manage the accounts, bookkeeping and reporting for the domestic (US) legal entities. The manager position is new, and will report to the CEO and work closely with the In-house counsel, the latter residing and working in Cabot, VT.
A Bachelor’s in business administration or equivalent is required.
A minimum of 5 years of professional work administrating or supporting the administration of one or more business enterprises is required.
Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office is required.
Experience with QuickBase and/or the development of databases for business use is a strong plus.
The ability to work independently, and take initiative are desired attributes.
The ability to, through the written language, communicate thoughts and ideas in an accessible and respectful way with our multi-cultural team environment is a must-have skill.
Tasks that one will be responsible for include state reporting, all bookkeeping such as transaction recording, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, correspondence with the firm’s consulting CPA, tax reporting at the Federal and State level, payroll, and distribution/calculation of profit-sharing programs.
Until summer 2020, 100% of the Hollingsworth Pack administrative tasks had been accomplished by a team of Business school students in Copenhagen, Denmark. The student program has been in operation since 2011, peaking in 2020 with 6 staff members. The growth of the firm and complexity of the operations now require the dedication of a full-time administrative manager, capable of receiving and leading all the US-related administrative tasks to the new office, under establishment in Cabot, VT.
With the very successful growth of Hollingsworth Pack, the position is a career management position that will lead to the creation of a local, Vermont team that will anchor the firms administrative center. The successful candidates should anticipate some travel, both domestic and international.
We are looking for a team member with strong organizational skills, high working morale, and ready analytical abilities. A high level of patience will be expected, not to mention, a certain comfort level with delivering accurate work in a timely manner as the success of the team will be dependent on good leadership skills that encourages and promotes each member’s individual contribution.
The job will involve a high degree of responsibility and independence, but we also offer flexible hours and supportive colleagues. The administrative manager will have the opportunity to form their team as it grows in the Vermont office.
Annual income levels will be commensurate with experience with a range starting at $70,000.
